Don’s stories can have a bit of humor, but can also turn a bit dark sometimes as in “Death Fits Like A Glove,” currently available as a short story on Kindle. But overall Don tries try to combine keeping it light and entertaining and yet suspenseful as his heroine, Billy Bly, tries to overcome villains and life, attempting to thwart her at every turn.

Don lives in Portland, Oregon, most likely know as of late as the location for TV shows Portlandia, Grimm and Leverage. He is a member of Willamette Writers and Oregon Writer’s Colony. He is the Volunteer Coordinator for the annual Willamette Writers Conference with over 1000 attendees, and works on the OWC conference committee staging author workshops.

He writes thriller mysteries “but somehow humor manages to sneak into my writing voice,” Don says. He also writes a blog on writing and getting publishing called I Love A Mystery.
